Lynn Canyon Park

Lynn Canyon Park is located in North Vancouver Canada. The Lynn Canyon is deep and abrupt. It extends for several kilometres from end to end and drops in elevation by dozens of metres. The result is that the Lynn Creek is taken for a very wild ride as it plunges over waterfalls and churns in erosion-sculpted cauldrons en route to the ocean below. The creek empties from a mountain valley wilderness watershed area known as Lynn Headwaters. From the source at Lynn Lake, the creek travels many miles until it reaches the canyon. Fed mainly by rain water runoff and snow melt, the creek retains clarity and doesn't carry a lot of sediment.

I went there last April 26 with my husband, Ethan and Ezelle. It's my first time to go to Canada as well as my 8 mos. old baby Ethan. I found Vancouver a clean city and I noticed than they are building a lot of housing all over the place. We arrived at the airport around 10:00 AM, we rented a car through Dollar, got the jeep liberty for $22 including tax plus $20 insurance. And then start heading to the hotel, we stayed at Holiday Inn for a day ($81) it was a nice, and clean to stay in. At 11:30 we start our journey to where my cousin ezelle work @ Langley BC, its a 40 minutes drive from Holiday Inn, Richmond. We met her employer, they are so nice and they let as stay in there house, while we wait for my cousin to log off from work. We planned to go to Capilano extension bridge but her employer suggested that we better go to Lynn Canyon, they said it's a nicer place than capilano, and we don't have to pay for entrance that cost $20 per person plus free parking at Lynn. It's 30 minutes drive from Langley to Lynn Park. It really is a nice place.
